Mission Consultant Work

Taught computers classes at the ChiangMai Co-Op, once a week for 3 months. Taught the Junior high class: Hardware (built a computer), programming basic concepts, consulting (designed a zoo with a website www.zootopia.com)

Director of YWAM Tampa's Discipleship Training School (DTS) for a 5 month training program. Daily responsible over 18 students in preparation for coming to Thailand. Then I brought this team to ChiangMai, Lampang, Phitsanulok, and Pang Nga to do evangelism and relief work.

XTTV (eXtreme Teens TV) Video production training youth group for Missionary kids in Chiangmai. Assistant leader for one year, primary leader for 3 months. (Watch a video we created.)

Taught in China, Burma, and Cambodia on various topics including: Leadership, hearing the Voice of God, the Character of God, spiritual disciplines, etc...

Raditek SEO and web designer. Thoroughly revamped the site, adding search, map, and targeted meta tags increased site ranking to top 1-3 for most keywords.

Designed The Lighthouse Coffee Shop in ChiangMai to sell coffee and desserts. Wrote proposals for grants, wrote the procedures manual, setup a wireless internet cafe, brought in a team to paint and prepare the facility, created advertising, created a menu and coffee chart. Planted 800 arabica coffee plants in remote village with Karen villagers.

6 Grade (B.6) Certified in the Thai Language: Translated most of a manual for running Cell Groups from English into Thai (50,000 words).

Worked with City Gate Church in Chiangmai with Pastor Gampon Kumdee. Intrim Pastor for 3 months when senior pastor traveled.

Member of YWAM's Frontier Missions Regional Leadership Team (FMRLT) and was given the responsibility to host, coordinate, and organize a week long Conference on Frontier Missions. Over 200 youth from SE Asia attended.

Representative for YWAM on the TLCM council. (Thai, Local Church and Ministries)

Regularly visited, assisted, and taught in over 10 tribal villages in N. Thailand.

Written several grant proposals for financial aid.

I have led over 40 mission teams on outreach to Northern Thailand. I gave each team an extensive cultural orientation.

Taught English to Police in Chiangmai.

A major editor of the book "A Walking Miracle".

YWAM Chiangmai: In 2002 established a base for regular meetings, held a position on the leadership team, in charge of training interns. Multimedia CD Design for YWAM Thailand.

Went to Switzerland to assist the Founder of YWAM, Loren Cunningham, to design a complex presentation. I put my calculations into a Powerpoint presentation that was delivered to many thousands of people.

Business Consultant Work

Took the initiative to develop a C++ program to predict mainframe tape drive usage, resulting in a significant saving in man- hours.

Set up a front- end GUI interface in Visual Basic for a Work Flow Tracking program used at an application out- souring project. Also, assisted in development of the PowerBuilder back- end.

Wrote C program on Unix system to maintain large website (http://geps.pac.com) of thousands of documents and graphics (For GE Nuclear). The code generated unique Active Server HTML on the fly depending on the user and their level of security. The code also encrypted and maintained passwords using the RSA algorithm to meet government regulations.

Converted several thousand pages of Microsoft Word documents into indexed PDF files using Adobe Acrobat and Frame Maker 5. The Adobe Reader PDF files were distributed to client sites on CD- ROM's that I designed utilizing a Visual Basic Frontend. Also analyzed the Verity and Excallibur search engines for Web use in WWW applications. Then converted the information into HTML for posting on a secure site.

Scanned text and graphics for over 600 documents and transferred them into HTML format. Set up an Access database and a web site to organize these pages for clients.

System Analysis and Design. Developed a strategy for assessing Year 2000 impact and compliancy for Programs written in Visual Basic, FORTRAN and FoxPro. Created a tool to determined which lines of code would require conversion.

Migrated over 100 programs in Basic and Fortran from the Honeywell Bull to a DEC VAX or PC environment. Migration responsibilities included: writing test case matrices and test plans, updating documentation, running test cases, and conducting design reviews to re-validate the programs on the new platforms.

Designed weekly Problem Management reports in Infoman for a Mainframe environment. Also exported the data to Lotus 123 which automated specialized graphs and charts using Macros. Completed this task within one week.

Independently created documentation and online Help for a Visual Basic product called Financial Analysis Systems Toolkit (FAST). This is a front end to a FOCUS (Financial Tool) product. Also, developed several Access Visual Basic Reports.

Installed and maintained three interlinked networks. Setup the following: One Novell data server at the hub; one Video Server using Starlight to multiprocess video images to seven separate kiosks simultaneously; and one Sun Workstation running a Product Data Management system for PC's and Mac's. Beta tested, debugged, and streamlined a Director Multimedia business software package just weeks before the release of the product.

Programmed COBOL II modules for a large phone database system in DB2 from high level design using CICS on an IBM 3080 MVS System. Updated and maintained existing code to meet changing user needs.

Created macro- driven programs in Visual Basic for organizing a financial system in Excel.

Maintained, controlled, and coordinated the flow of batch jobs in a large interconnected system of Mainframe, VAX, and UNIX Servers.

Head Instructor of the Training Department. Received Highest performance evaluations for quality software and hardware training on a Novell Network. Also highly commended for field services, technical writing, phone support, and trouble shooting. Developed easy to read manuals to assist my training classes.

Responsible for coordinating and maintaining a LAN of PC's, for dBase III programming and for reorganizing the data flow of the department.

Created encryption software using the RSA algorithm (128 Public Key) on a Unix machine using C++.

Provided badly needed computer Consulting, Systems Installation, and on- site Training for overseas headquarters.
