Sean & Anne Sanborn

Our heart is to minister in among the Thai in Northern Thailand in church planting, evangelism, discipleship, and mercy ministry, in order to see a strong church grow in Thailand.

Goals for 2006/2007

Build up the youth/college program at City Gate Church (CGC). Train up youth leaders within CGC, and have regular youth meetings and events. Lead a team from CGC into the local area, campuses, villages, and orphanages. Our goal is to take these disciples to evangelize in other countries.

Lead lots of teams to remote villages.

(Anne) Teaching and training in worship and musicianship at CGC.

Long Term Goals (5-10 years)

Church Planting and Discipleship among the Thai people - possibility of eventually moving to a smaller town in N. Thailand (about 2 hours from Chiang Mai City).

Leading Training Schools, and training Thai Nationals to become leaders and missionaries themselves. (Through a possible YWAM/TLCM training centre).

Coordinating outreaches for local churches to Hill Tribes, neighboring nations, orphanages, hospitals and schools.

Serve local pastors and missionaries with Technical Assistance, e.g. websites, computer repairs, and classes. Eventually desire to train some young people in computers skills so that they can apply these skills in a “tent-making” capacity.

(Anne) Evangelistic Performing Arts Troupe, using Thai dance, songs, and drama. We hope to discover the keys for cultural redemption in order to help Thai’s see that Jesus is not a foreign God.

Ultimate Goals

For Thai Nationals to become leaders over their own training schools and send people out. (To work ourselves out of a job.)

To minister in surrounding nations in church planting and discipleship, along side the local Thai missionaries that have been raised up within the Thai Church.
