We had a busy & exciting summer with our Niece and Nephew visiting from Germany. Samantha and Timothy were ecstatic to have their cousins staying with us for 5 weeks. They saw it as one continuous party! It was quite an adventure for all of us - we had loads of fun swimming and exploring the woods together.
After they left, it was time to return focus to all the preparations for the Fall quarter. We finished the summer with a road trip to Virginia, where we stayed with good friends in Delaplane.
In Virginia, we finally met cousin Dax
Sean’s Grandmother had passed away in the Spring, and we held a memorial for her in Chantilly, VA for all her friends from that area. It was a special time of reconnecting with old friends and remembering Grandma Sanborn. She played a big role in our deciding to become missionaries.

Upon our return from Virginia, we welcomed a new staff family into our YWAM Tampa Bay Family. The Hall’s are currently on furlough from Africa, and we are so honoured to have them as part of our Family! Lyle is quite handy, and thanks to his ingenuity YWAM Tampa Bay now has a new kitchen! The best part is, we used plywood from the JudahBenHur containers.
Thank God for the Hall family
Discipleship Training School (DTS)
& Basic Leadership School (BLS)
YWAM Tampa Bay’s Fall 2013 Performing Arts DTS began September 23. Sean is the Director of Training & Anne is the Registrar, so our hands have been full with setup and organization for this DTS. This year we have 4 DTS students (Amy, Annette, Sheila, Erik) and one BLS student (Carolina). They are the cream of the crop, and we are blessed to have the opportunity to train and mentor them.
On October 1, Sean taught on Hearing the Voice of God. The students enjoyed the stories and it was hard to stick with the notes, as they wanted to ask a lot of questions about what it was like on the mission field.

Fiddler on the Roof
Anne is always looking for opportunities to use the talents God has given her, and the latest is her involvement in Fiddler on The Roof! She will take the stage as Shandel. Anne has been working hard at rehearsals and loves the opportunities to mentor and build up the young ladies in the cast. If you are in the area, come see her perform, October 18, 19, 25, 26, and 27 at Faith Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Brooksville, FL. For more information and to purchase tickets go to www.LiveOakTheatre.org.

Timothy is enrolled in Preschool (VPK). It has not been a smooth transition for him – he went from begging us to go to school with Samantha, to telling us he just wanted to stay home with Mummy! Samantha is enjoying learning how to read and often reads to Timothy. She is also teaching herself cursive handwriting! We told her she had to finish all her homework before then she can work on her cursive books. Since then, she’s been very diligent to get all her work done so she can develop her new skill!
Work hard, play harder.
The Investigator Movie
David (Sean’s brother), stars as Paul in The Investigator. It premiered in select theatres on September 13. It did very well, and has been in theatres for 4 weeks. It is one of the best faith based films we’ve seen! And it got some great reviews. www.theinvestigatormovie.com

Notice for Supporters
We have an important notice for all of our financial supporters. YWAM Honolulu was relocated and made some changes to their accounting. From now on checks sent there, need to be written to “YWAM” or “YWAM OAHU” but not “YWAM HONOLULU”. Checks made to the old account will be returned to the donor. Thanks for your understanding in this matter.
- Prayer for Taa, a YWAM Church Planter we work with in Phitsanulok Thailand as he is studying the Bible in Montanna.
- Pray that we can raise enough finances to staff the YWAM Phitsanulok Thailand Performing Art DTS which will begin Nov. 2014.
- Prayer that we will be able to find a cheap vehicle.
- Praying that 20 individuals would join our support team.
Thank you so much for partnering with us and making this ministry successful! We are so grateful for your support and prayers.
