Sometimes I will find Samantha crying.
“What’s wrong?” I ask my sniffling daughter.
“I miss Thailand, Daddy. I want to go help all those people.”
Her empathy warms my heart. It’s hard for all of us to be away so long.
“I do too. We’ll go again someday.”
The whole clan together
Well, it’s been 5 years since we have been permanently based in Florida. All of us miss our friends in Thailand, enormously. Recently, our main church in America FEPC decided to bring a team to work with us and City Gate Church in Thailand. Anne didn’t have her citizenship yet so we decided that Samantha and Sean should go. So far, we have enough for half of our travel expenses. Would you consider donating to help pay for our travel to Chiang Mai, Thailand.
It's fun having the Richards here.
After Sean returns from Thailand he will be attending a YWAM conference in Indianna representing YWAM Tampa Bay. Then he will head to Virginia again where he will teach on Spiritual Warfare at a Discipleship Training Course. From there he will help lead the DTC on outreach to St. Croix. This will be his third trip there and we are enjoying the close relationships that are developing with that ministry location.
Watch out for that dragon!
After a twenty-year wait, Anne has successfully jumped through all of immigration’s hurdles and has become an American citizen. Thankfully, she is able to retain her Australian citizenship.

Babes in Toyland
In August, Sean was asked to run sound for the musical Babes in Toyland in Virginia. We used this opportunity to visit the Smithsonian, Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown. Coincidentally, this is what our kids have been studying and it really brought their studies to life. They loved it more than Disneyworld and we would recommend the experience to anyone interested. Here is a clip where Sean was elected to play the Sheriff.
Many authors dream up intense adventures. Somehow, Sean has survived some amazing true-life adventures which gives his fictional stories a ring of truth. Your support would definitely encourage him to finish the editing of the rest of the series. Book two: Journey, is nearly done. Book one: Rescue, has been selling well and has gotten rave reviews lately, especially from teenagers.
